I always liked this caliber and one day dream converting my 30-06. I don't know who actually sells 280ai brass let alone available now. If i ever get one, I'm probably gonna just buy some loaded ammo from a smaller manufacturer. Guys like Chadtrg (dallas custom reloads or something like that) here on this forum or i found the following from a google search. https://choiceammunition.com/product/280-ackley-improved-160-grain-nosler-accubond100-hand-loaded/Seems like anything 280ai related is rare and expensive. Part of the reason why mine is till a 30-06.

280 AI Nosler IIRC is the company that worked with SAAMI to standardize it into their standards. They sell brass and loaded ammo. Do not know when they will make more though.
Good thing about it is you can shoot 280 ammo in it and have that brass to reload afterwards as your 280AI
Nosler and Norma make brass for it and loaded rounds from Norma or Remington are on Ammoseek. Brass from Nosler is there as well.

I much prefer to make my 280 AI cases from 30-06 cases. size the 06 cases so there is a shoulder on the neck that causes the bolt to close with some resistance and fire with a full power 280 load. So far this fireform loading has provided excellent accuracy and I have used them for both hunting and target shooting. I usually use a manual load one grain under max of IMR 4350 and a 150 grain Nosler Ballistic Tip.

Look at Peterson. If it is stock it is good brass. Last I bought was through Graff & Sons. Nosler brass is also good. I stumble across it some at Midway. Have fun. I like mine.

Unknown Munitions, Graf's, Natchezss, Brownells and a few others, get on the notification list and wait. Peterson just produced a huge run, so it may be a wait. I bought 700 pieces of it then.
