I don't like catching them skunks, but got a couple this year myself. No telling how many raccoons, but several. I did not keep count.
I bet you had fun releasing that Cat. I was on a lease several years ago where I had a critter getting in my trash every night. I set a steel trap for it by the trash and caught a fat healthy housecat in it the first night. That sucker woke me up wailing like a siren. It was LOUD. There was a trailer house with permanent residents visible beyond our boundary fence at camp. I am sure they heard it too, as I saw their lights come on. I figured it was their pet cat so I released it despite that cat doing it's best to claw, bite, and fight me over it.

I had a house cat bite through my boot one time releasing it, they are scary in a trap!
Good luck rest of the year, we just got some sets out this weekend. Hoping no coons and lots of bobcats.

A 22 short to the earhole will take out all opportunities for scratches and bites.

Catch plenty of beavers and several otter each year. I'm dreading trying to release an otter from a foothold. Anyone ever have to deal with that?
