There were lots of reviews on previous thread about Chippewa snake boots but these Danner San Angelo boots looks comparable.
Does anyone have reviews of the Danner boots or a comparison of preferences between the two?

I think mine are San Angelo. I like them okay, but I have a narrow foot and my feet slop around in them, so I don't wear them when I plan on walking quite a bit. Also, I'm 61 with flat feet, so I need as much arch support as I can get and these have zero. But they have held up rather well.

'Wish I could find narrow snake boots.

Bought the wife a pair for Christmas. She wanted Chips, but nobody has them in stock around here. Upon further investigation, they moved all manufacturing out of the USA. I’ll stick with American made Danners from now on.

Thanks for the info.
I'm still looking at both brands but also wanting the one with the most dense soles to help prevent the south tx. thorns from penetrating.
I have some LaCrosse Fang snake boots and the thorns will sometimes go all the way through the soles on those.
