Can anyone recommend a few timber company (land manager) names to find a new lease in East Texas.

I use www.frcleasing.com- have three tracts leased from them. I will check my bookmarks and see if I have any other saved.

I don't know what happened to my post about timber company history over the last 40 years or so. Let's just say that timber companies as we once knew them, such as International Paper, Champion, and Temple are no longer in the timber land ownership business- pretty much all timber holding companies now.

Nothing available currently at FRC.
Any other suggestions to find a lease in East Texas, Smith County?
Cherokee, Anderson, and Wood counties as a second choice.
Henderson, Van Zandt, Rusk, Upshur and Greg third choice.
