Those are from this year? Who gets taxi back that quick? I think I remember the wide one but was there a thread about the other? Both really great deer!! Congrats.

Those are from this year? Who gets taxi back that quick? I think I remember the wide one but was there a thread about the other? Both really great deer!! Congrats. Yes both from this year. One opening weekend of archery and the other mid November with a rifle. That was two different taxi's who did the work. 7E on the archery and B&B on the rifle kill. The archery kill was done in about 10 weeks. That rifle kill was done with a swapped cape with an already tanned cape my friend had. The bucks original cape and the swap cape were almost identical in color and facial markings. I did not know either one was going to be done that quick....but my friend had the taxi do the rifle kill quickly as a Christmas gift for me. That taxi does all of his mounts also so that is why it was done so fast. No thread on either buck.

Would love to hear more about the deer and the hunts. I remember some about the wide deer.

Very nice mounts and it obviously pays to have such good friends with taxi connections. Mine are taking damn near a year due to back logs of tanning etc. What a great early Christmas gift surprise.
