19° here with a feels like temp on 9° no movement at all so far. Also my Dr Pepper is freezing up on me in the stand.

About 20 degrees in Navarro County with snow flurries. Shot a coyote early. Haven't seen a single deer, and I'm....damnit!! As I was typing, the big 8 that we've been targeting showed up. My son was lining up the shot and waiting for him to turn broadside, and he suddenly took off.

Nope, hanging at home. Got an axis doe this week, I’ll be back to try for her BF in a week or so. Haven’t seen a mature WT buck on the place yet. Probably get a WT doe next trip out as well.

Was in blind this morning, 19 degrees wind chill was 6. Got out at 1130. I got back in here at 230. It’s 32 now. Still windy. Not seeing deer. Good luck in last hour. My season over this afternoon. Franklin County.

Hunted yesterday. Got in the blind at noon and it was 69 degrees. When I shot my 6pt at 5:20 it was 30 and was in the 20's after I found him and hung him up for gutting. Hard north wind howling. Was 15 this morning.

I hunted this morning and it was COLD. It was 17 with a wind chill of 4 so I took the extremely rare step of using a heater in the blind. I did see quite a few deer moving, just nothing I wanted to shoot.

Last deer hunt, never miss it. Got a couple of young bucks and a couple of hogs on road corn now. Be a lot more deer before dark. Not planning on shooting anything unless a coyote shows up.
