Lots moving this morning. Shot a buck in the pen only to have him jump out and run like all get out. I think his intent was to get as far from the taco as he could. No one to come help. Got my unintended work out. The bastidge will make good sausage. It was a beautiful couple of days with lots of activity. Headed back to real life in the morning. Hopefully coming back with SIL 2 Friday.

Learned to eat like that when we would leave at sunrise and not come back to camp until dark. Typically, We'd meet back at the truck mid-day and put a small cutting board on the tailgate. Had some of my best meals there with nothing having ever been heated. When I went to Italy, I ran across a wood shop with small olive wood cutting boards. You can carry them in a daypack with no issues. Bought two. It's what I came home with. One went to the spook and I'll bet dollars to donuts he still has it and uses it. I know I use mine.
