Tomorrow? I was going to go next week to hunt the spike season, but I just can't wait! Be there for tomorrow's afternoon hunt and if necessary, Sunday's last day of the regular season. Wife already got a buck but wants to shoot a spike so maybe next week for her.

I did this morning and was perfect temps, mid 40s,, cloudy and no wind and deer were moving great in SW Young county. Had 4 bucks chasing a young hot doe and saw one other small 5th buck. Sunday should be prime with cold temps and decreasing winds...

I'll go in the morning; it was too hot to bother with it today, and I had too much to do. Sunday morning I get to finally get my cold weather gear out! Weather app says, with the windchill, it'll feel like 10 degrees. 'Looking for a couple of old culls.

I'll be out tomorrow PM through Monday AM. Can't wait

Already got my buck and mule deer buck will be there Tuesday- Thursday looking for does/spike and pigs

Was going to go, but kids asked if we would watch granddaughter so they could take a mini vacation, granddaughter won out. Fun times!!!!!

Likely gonna watch football this afternoon then hunt all day tomorrow. Got some heated socks for Christmas on the charger ready for cold weather!

The wife went this morning and got a spike with her crossbow. Jojo, the 14 year old dog that has lots of health issues got to find it, haven't seen him that excited and acting like a youngster in a few years. Makes for a great start to the new year.

The trail wasn't long it ran about 20 yards and dropped about 60 yards from the back door.

Slept in this morning but going to try and hang sompin this evening.

Got to the blind at noon. Beautiful day but windy. Noticeably cooler now and deer starting to move. Should be a busy afternoon.

Came out to Palo Pinto last night, will be here through tomorrow. Only a Doe seen so far, pigs got a pass at sunup, they won’t get a second one.

16* with a 25 mph North wind up here in the Panhandle. My son and I hunted this morning and are back in the stand this evening. Need the wind to settle down.

I wish. Just spent 3 days with 102 degree fever. Finally broke yesterday morning. Still recovering. Thank God for a wife who can cook good soup and black eyed peas.

Got the old dry doe I was after and a mgt buck this morning. SnackSticks did not show up.

Got in the stand this afternoon about 3:30 and it was 74° and dead calm, It’s now 66° with a constant 16 mph wind and gusts to I don’t know.
