#1 son had friends over today, so I went hunting solo- the mule deer are in full rut (too bad they’re not in season), and there wasn’t a whitetail or a pig to be found. Awesome! I remember when there were almost no deer in that part of the country. Anytime you can see more than one drilling rig from where you’re standing you know life is good.
