Alright...…….
Im going a different direction with my rifles and going to sell a few scopes.
Im fairly certain that I am going with Vortex or Burris on everything that I own
I need to know what they realistically should sell for.
All scopes have been mounted on one rifle their entire life.

Leupold VX2 3-9x40-Older scope, prolly 80s model
Pentax Gameseeker 4-12x40
Nikon 3-9x40
Nikon 4-12x40
Nikon Buckmaster 4-12x40
Nikon Prostaff 5 3.5-14x40
Im not even gonna ask the value of the Tasco I found in the safe!

Thanks in advance

Depending on the age, the Leupold should sell for between $150 & $200

You can find the age of the Leupold off of the serial number on the bottom.

If the Tasco is made in Japan it likely worth something.

The VX-2 is $225-250 in my opinion. Then again I’m bias to the VX-II series. Is it a VX-II, VX-IIc, or a VX-2? Those are 3 different animals with the c having more elevation adjustment than the original and the 2 being different all together.

Look on Ebay or gun broker and see what they are going for. I would guess $200 is about right on the leupold and the others would be significantly less. Nikon doesn't make scopes anymore.

I am sure most people feel the same way hence their value isn't much. I have owned some Nikon scopes and they treated me well. Nothing really wrong with them and if I had one I would probably just keep using it but I sure wouldn't go out and buy one to stick on a rifle.

That’s been a thought too.
Im probably going to keep the Prostaff 5 since it is such a good scope.
I’ve already taken the Buckmasters off and replaced with a Vortex Viper.
I have 2 additional Vortex sitting in the safe that I picked up here and there when I got a deal on them.
I may just let 2 of them go and put the others on 22s, ARs, etc.
The Leupold isnt mine. I have one and refuse to take it off of the Weatherby it sits on.
