I like Steel Force for hogs, gotta still double lung them if you want recovery.
Just like Jesus, sometimes you gotta kill some hogs. Lone Star Mesquite . com RattleSnake Dan's Shredding Service

I have posted this before. Maybe this will help someone new to pig hunting. You can poke them with an ice pick in these three area's and kill a hog.
They make ammo specifically for hunting for a reason!

My personal preferences: Small hogs-use what you got. Get them broad side, and double lung them. Expect a pass through and an easy recovery.
Big hogs-stout fixed three blade broad head like a Muzzy or Thunderhead. Quartering away shot angled into the boiler room. Stay off big bones and the shield on big hogs with archery gear.

Headshot if you are accurate. Quartering away avoid shoulder. Double lung. Fan of Rage.

Old school broad-heads with the little winglet side blades that I have spent soo much time sharpening that any contact with the cutting edge will draw buckets of blood. I bleed all over the place when prepping the blades. For a few years I even made my own blades.

I shoot NAP Hellrazors on pigs. Best placement I have found is to line up on the front leg about 2-3" above the chest. Softest spot on a pig.

Magnus Stinger 150's or a good, scary sharp CoC fixed blade. Shot placement's everything. Vitals are packed tight up front and low. Ranch Fairy on YouTube has a lot of good anatomy and shot placement videos. He also touts ultra heavy arrows or 'adult arrows' which I don't exactly buy into and can get a little annoying at times but his info on shooting hogs and placement is pretty good.

Shot placement. In my forays with a crossbow in the lake bottoms my recovery rate is abysmal, even on double lung shots. Shortest run was about 10 yards on a behind the shoulder quartering to me shot with fixed blades. I've seen forehead shots run a ways. A bow lacks the immediate knockdown power. But it's fun as [censored].😁

I have taken two with older Rothar Snuffers. Don''t think they make them anymore.

Muzzy. Make sure you're behind the shoulder blade.

Two of my most recent with a crossbow. One I am sure ended up in the shoulder blade. I did not get a pass through. No real blood trail other than a half dozen drops I tracked with a dog until I found the back half of the bolt broken off. 2nd one was point blank head on to the head as it was about to run over me. It was all so fast I'm am not sure, but probably ended up too low and not a mortal wound. Again ran off with my arrow, left me half of it, and no blood trail. Don't remember what kind of broadhead. Some fancy crossbow specific ones that I bought long ago. I suck at crossbow hog hunting. Shot placement matters with hogs. HornSlayer's picture is right on.

I shot 2 last year. Both, I was trying out some new BH’s. First one was a mechanical and hit just behind elbow. This was a big ole boar. Ran maybe 30 yards. Heart shot!!! Next one was with a fixed head, on about a 75lber, right in the elbow and another heart shot. They don’t go far on a heart shot and leaves a blood trail Ray Charles can follow!!!
