They have another version where they use an old wooden pack frame from the 1920’s and a sheep hide.
Looks pretty cool
For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

I saw one like Txtrophy85 is describing at a taxidermist in Harper. It looks awesome in person....
Never been to a camping world. I prefer Dick's to be honest.

I’ve seen mountain goats and sheep mounted like that, but never a whitetail. Not a fan of these mounts, but it’s cool non the less.

That’s ugly. I don’t even care for shoulder mounted white tails. I prefer a horn mount. I had a big mule deer mounted 35 years ago and the hair started slipping. It ended up in the trash. I only have one shoulder mount and it’s a pronghorn.

Has no appeal to me at all. But everyone has his/her own taste in mounts, and if that kind of mount is what they would like to spend their money on, I say go for it!

As a stand alone mount they don’t look all that great but if you have a large collection they have a place to break up the monotony of a bunch of different shoulder mounts. I would not be opposed to getting one down the road but I would do the old school pack frame and rolled hide rather than the modern pack
