Nice, what part of the state?
I remember the 19/20 season we shot several BWT in north texas in December. It was alot colder that winter than it is this year and I have shot a bwt all season, even during early teal.

Nice looking bwt. I dunno. Think I'd mount that one. There is a video on YouTube of a guy showing how to skin the bird so you can still eat it. I may try it sometime. But not with one that nice.
No matter how high a duck flies a hammer still breaks a window.

Just west of Houston. Last 25 years I did shoot 2 Cinamon Drakes- must have gotten lost from pacific flyway. Never fully plumed BWT in North Tx - would Imagine you public dudes more likely to see them on big water Beautiful specimen.
