Watch out when you buy ammo from Academy. I bought what I thought was two boxes of .243 but they turned out to be 30-30.
Glad I caught it before I tried to load up my rifle.

I’ve personally seen the same thing with 41 mag.... it was 44 inside the box

I tried to take them back to a different Academy. The front door person said go to the hunting section and they will give me two replacement boxes. Then the hunting section guys said they cannot do that and then said get in line and get a refund. Well the line had a 75 people in it so I said forget that and went home. I'll try again when there are not so many people there.

Where's the Quality Control at Monarch?.

Someone prob swapped the more expensive ammo to the cheaper box to save a few bucks. Idiots walk amongst us.

Biggest question is which Academy has 243?

I went to Academy's web site and both the 30-30 & .243 sell for $21.99 for 20 rounds.

The local Academy had these in stock yesterday as well. Just started seeing .243 for the first time in over a year. DIdnt buy as I recently secured enough to last me a long time through the family network.

It wasn't a factory screw up, I'll tell you that. I have several friends who own factories. The system won't mix and match in the middle of a run, and they shouldn't even fit in the same sized box. That's a shelf swapper at work!!

Monarch uses PPU brass which that is head stamped. They cost the same, so it make zero sense to switch them. Monarch screw up all the way. I got some Miller Lite the other day and it had High Life in it.
