I just got one back. 9 months

The system went offline at 9 last night with a planned outage until next Tuesday morning when the upgraded Efile site is to go live.

I still expect 4 month wait times for form4 but I'd be happy to be wrong.

We will see. I have one I put in jail back in May. Still waiting. I may try another one after Christmas to see how it goes. I'm hopeful, but realistic regarding e-file.

If your silencer comes with a QD attachment flash hider will they give that to you ahead of time so you can have it ready when the suppressor arrives?

I can imagine so if you’ve dealt with the dealer before and they know you have previous approved stamps. Why would they remove an item out of a package if you’re not guaranteed to get the stamp back approved?

Yes, if you have paperwork in the system already, you still get to wait about 9 months. Of course I bought one 2 weeks before this was announced.

ATF just kicked the prospective date of new E-file site going live to 23DEC2021.

I'm expecting mid January with the holiday and IT staff and contractor shortages related to it.

Have one with check cashed on 8/5 and one with check cashed on 9/27. According to SilencerShop's timeline, it is taking about 260 days to get approved from the check being cashed. So hoping for no later than 4/22 and 6/14.

They are still working their way through early March 2021 submissions, so it's going to be a while.

Yes. If you are much less than a year you are doing great right now. The quick turn around are 11 months at the moment.

Damn thought they would speed up

Well....that just took some wind out of my sails.

Believe so the check was sent in February of last year they told me my form went pending on 3/5 of last year. I'm waiting on another that was a 3/19 last year as well. Another I just purchased at DSC on 1/7 that is e-file so we'll see how bad the govt. can screw up a "90 day turn around".
