I just got back from shooting as well. I could probably castrate bulls if they’re still for the first few shots. My action screws are still working loose but it was shooting good when I parked it. Of course I immediately tightened them so who knows where it will hit.

I was beating the snot out of about a 4” group. That’s pretty poor but I’ll take it. It’ll let me play.

Of course i shot too much so I have to load again.

I’ve considered it. I’ve got some blue and red here. Wish I would have locked it down when I quit shooting. Not thinking about the fact that tightening it would likely throw it out again. It shot horrible for the first 10 rounds before it settled in. That’s likely when it came loose. It was only out about a 1/8th of a turn on the front lug this time after 40 ish rounds. I may back it back off that 1/8th turn and drip some from inside into the threads.

Blue steel screws into stainless. I should know better. I just realized that.

Well, uh, the wind blew a bit…..consensus among the shooters was that it was much more than the forecasted 18-20 mph. It slowed a bit after about noon but it also started having more drastic direction changes….never saw so many having trouble hitting the 8” target, myself included. When I left around 1:00 there were 4 shooters left: Jennifer with 0 losses and Mikael, Lori and 1 other with 1 loss each.

It was a great time, as always, and got to meet some new people. I think the wind affected me more than it did bullets, the gusts (and the cold) shook me a few times. Congrats to the winners!

We missed this shoot. Just finished selling our place and moved into a temporary house till we find something. I hope there's a shoot next month we'll be there.
Senior and family always host a great shoot.

Awesome time. Great shooters and better people.

That wind was flat-out humbling.

Agree. I knew the wind would be cold, I wore warm clothes then my insulated coveralls over and the wind still cut through me. I should know better.

This was my first time out on a shooting competition. Had a great time except for the wind and cold combination. Senior is a great host and the other shooters there were a lot of fun to hang out with. I’ll definitely be trying my best to do these shoots whenever they’re being held.

Well that was a chilly one boys and girls at least it finally got decent at the end of the day. First place was Jen The Terminator second place was Mikael and third place was Lori . I enjoyed getting to meet some new shooters this weekend even in the cold hopefully we'll see them again.

PS, I forgot to mention Gary's daughter Ava shot well this weekend hopefully we will get to see her again.

I was one of the new guys at the match and really enjoyed it. This was my first shooting competition and everyone was great and answered all my stupid questions without making me feel like an idiot smile I'm looking forward to becoming a regular participant.
