I cannot get FSSW so I cannot watch the high school playoffs. Called to complain and got $40 off my bill. Even if you dont watch football just tell them you live in Texas and highschool football championships need to be seen.

Dish was always good about issuing credits if you asked. That being said, I made the switch to YouTube TV in early 2019 after Dish dropped FSSW. Very shortly after I switched, YT TV dropped FSSW, too. Now I don't ever get to see the Mavs or Rangers, but I guess I'm almost used to it now.

I just told them to pull as much off the bill as they wanted. I asked for 20 and they gave me 40 and are sending me all new equipment in the next week or so grin

They will send you an antenna if you ask for it to get it on I believe, set my in-laws up a couple weeks ago.

I did try that a few years ago and got the antenna but it no worky. That is an excellent suggestion though.

ABC sucks. I never watch anything on NBC, CBS or ABC. I`d rather watch home shopping network 24x7 than support any of those liberal networks. I can get all of the weather reports I want online.

Yep, same here. I have been able to watch some Rangers with MLB app and using another login or VPN. Mavs have been on ESPN and TNT and not been blacked out.

I renegotiate every year and get the $40 credit. I used the loss of channels in the negotiation this year. I turned down the free antenna because I have a large one in the attic. When I hung up I thought carp my daughter could use it. I am 50 miles from the towers so I don't think their little antenna would work. I keep Dish because satellite it is the only reliable way to get TV at the deer lease.

Dish is easy to negotiate with. Also if you are paying for the Dish service plan for like $10 a month drop that. They lost a class action suit that TX was a part of for their service plan. If you have any equipment issues call Dish and tell them to active your service plan and get your issues resolved. Once they do and before you hang up tell them to deactivate your service plan. Costing you nothing. Works like a charm.

I don't have it and my receiver went out. They shipped one for nothing. It was the same model I had before and I swapped the drives and saved my recordings. I own one I am not using but when I asked about activating it they said there was an extra charge because it has a larger hard drive. Bunch of carp. They keep pushing the Hopper on me but last time I had it it jacked up the receiver I have at the deer lease. Same thing happened to a lease member on Direct when he upgraded equipment at the house.
