My wife enjoys liver. I don't, but I'll make sure I grab the liver along with the heart from any deer I shoot to cook for her.

I found this recipe on YouTube (from The Scott Rea Project). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pTVUfol-D0

Sautee the liver, then dice. Mix with fresh parsley, heavy cream, white whine vinegar, freshly squeezed lemon juice, cracked black pepper and kosher salt. Toast some bread with butter and plate with a bit of deli mustard.

If you enjoy liver and are looking for something a bit different, it's worth a try. Certainly not something for everyone (or most folks).

looks good. prolly would work with beef liver too? i usually have liver and onions, only way ive seen it at eateries and at home

I'm sure it would work with beef liver just fine. I'm with you, only had liver growing up one way, so I've tried a new recipe or two for the past few years trying to find something I can handle.
