Hey all.

I was curious of what side of tiller handle do you put on your mud motor? Finally after many months of belly achin, boss gave go ahead for a copperhead 23 hp motor. Been researching and watching utube videos and I see tiller handle mounted right side of the motor. I’m right handed and has my tiller mounted to the left. Is this personal preference? Does it matter?

Thanks,
Eugene

Thanks Bill but I think I confused you. This is for my jon boat and surface drive mud motor setup. I know prodrive call them tiller handle but it might be called something else. I always thought it as steering handle. I’m still new on this. I have a mud skipper kit and with medical issues and now bad drive shaft assembly, I just didn’t have a lot of time on this type of surface mud motor.
