What's you smoke? I just ordered 5 Buffalo Trace cigars. I also have a Garrison Brothers Cigar. Yes these are cigars not whiskeys. Nica Rustic, any or most Rocky Patel's, AJ Fernandez, Drew Estate Black, Don Felix and Gurkha

I just started getting my feet wet into cigars but I truly love the aroma of a good cigar.

Micallef Nicaragua. U.S. office is in Weatherford, so you're sort of supporting a Texas company. Awesome smoke. up

Oliva V, Ashton VSG, San Cristobal, and Mi Amore by La Aroma de Cuba are some of my favs that arent from that ISOM. For an everyday cigar, I love the Brickhouse and Jaime Garcia lines. Solid $5 smokes.

Current favorite is the Rocky Patel Sun Grown Maduro Robusto. I have not tried them yet but have heard good things about Micallef Cigars and Noel Rojas locally.

I think you are more of a pipe smoker type, find a nice church warden style or a horn style pipe.

And you can grow your own.

Taking notes.... I will start smoking again on long intervals. Looking for a cigar or two, and tobacco for one of my Dad's old pipes.

I'm not sure how the others on here are about "smoking cigars". For me it's all about the smell. I don't puff puff puff on a cigar all the way through like you would a cigarette. It's more about a slow burn and an inhale to keep it lit and the senses going. There are cigar etiquette that one can follow.

I just enjoy it more so with a whiskey by it's side. I'm not sure if that makes sense and maybe one of these guys on the forum that really knows more about this will chime in.

I've tried having a cigar while I ride around the place, or am doing something else, but a cigar demands you sit and do nothing and "ponder" to properly enjoy it. Thankfully, I've always excelled at doing nothing. Many men think they're way too busy and important to sit still for an hour, just thinking or talking to someone else. And yes, a good single malt enriches the experience even further. A gin martini will also do in a pinch. up

A glass of bourbon and cigar definitely make each other better!

Different strokes for different folks. I can smoke a traditional cigar, but when I sit down and really enjoy one its usually infused.

I smoke cigars when I’m duck hunting the coastal marshes. White Owl or King Edward. If it keeps the mosquitoes at bay it is a good cigar…
