I'm at work, wife is home and found this in the barn. Very young snake. Hard for me to tell what it is. [Linked Image]

she said he was in the dirt and I didn't figure he was venomous, but wanted y'alls opinion to make her feel at ease.

I think it is a Texas Brown snake also. Definitely harmless.

Thank y'all so much for your advice. She feels much better and she did place him back where she found him which i'm very surprised. This is the woman that used to blast off like a Blue Origin rocket when she saw a snake.
