I never go into the woods hoping to shoot a buck. I am there to hunt, and just assume kill does. I enjoy my time in the outdoors, if a nice buck comes my way, awesome! if not, oh well. I’m happier shooting coyotes and pigs

Exactly BigPig, some people just don’t understand

Great approach, I feel the same. I have not shot a buck in years, and I see them daily.

I'll shoot a doe if someone has asked me to get them one for meat. Otherwise, I leave them with my blessing for others in the area who need and enjoy the meat more than I do.

I must not understand then, every time I go into the woods I hope to get a shot at a big buck.

May not be what I except, but the hope is always there.

For it is not the quarry that we truly seek, but the adventure.

Buck to doe ratio....Deer density...Equals doe permits...Equals proposed harvest. This answers what we should do.

These are my thoughts exactly.
