I have pretty much been middle of the road so far as TPWD and their performance so far as our wildlife resources. So far as boat registration, not so much. The process to obtain a title on an abandoned boat is STUPID! They absolutely fail the test in the title department. It is a seven month process, if all goes correctly, after which you must purchase a bonded insurance policy before the final title is issued.

And I hope the game wardens are reading this. I have noticed a slipping in customer service as well/ I tried calling locations around Houston. Either they don't answer or it goes to voicemail. I called all three Houston locations and couldn't get an answer. I finally called Austin and got a person on the telephone. They still post numbers but they are smaller font, easily missed when reading. They are following big business and directing people away from being able to call.
