The wife and kids got pitched in and bought me a Weatherby Badlands .270 last Christmas. It has 10 rounds through it now. 3 to sight it in and 7 critters have now had their air let out. 1st was a good 9 point on opening day of rifle season. I was able to get 4 hogs and 2 javelinas last week. I think I've found my new go to rifle. Closest shot was 62 yards farthest was 187 yards just keeping it in the fur. The barnes TTSX 130 has been deadly out of this rifle. Thanks Crash700.

Looks great, pondering getting one in 308 myself. Maybe a future Christmas rifle.

No matter the brand or model, there's nothing better than a rifle that works as hard and well as you do.

If you like the Barnes bullet, I would go try the Hornady ELDX 147 Grain as well. If you can find it. Groups better out of both of my .270's then the 130 SST.

Very good looking gun and can’t beat where it came from. My wife wouldn’t pitch a penny into my hobby

Sounds like you have a good one. 270 has always been my favorite. If you reload, try and get some Mag-Pro powder.

Thanks for the nice comments. I think they do like me grin. I am blessed to have them. This weekend the wife will go with me to get her a deer but she has to use her own rifle. grin

Great looking rifle. I finally found a Browning Hells Canyon Long Range with 26" barrel in a 308. Im hoping it's in this week.

Nice Rifle. Nothing better than hitting what you aim at; in hunting and in life.

Great looking rifle! Your wife and kids did great! What scope is on it?

Very nice rifle

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
