Gonna have a house full of kids, grand kids, and dogs this year. Missed them all last year. Went to the grocery store, and couldn't pass up the meat deals. Our favorite prime sirloins were down to $5/lb, and a really nice trimmed prime brisket was $4/lb. Guess I know what we are doing for the Holidays!!

Heck of a meat haul ya got there. Going to be some great eating.
Our kids went to their in-laws for Thanksgiving day and got full of turkey. So when they came to our house on Saturday, we did New York Strips and Chicken Breasts on the Big Green Egg, potato salad, mashed potatoes, green beans, baked beans, and crescent rolls. They were pleasantly surprised and and pleased.

I have to laugh a little and watch myself. My oldest son's fiancé (from Calif) and her daughters are vegan, and have been pretty picky eaters. He is nothing like that, and much more like me. Has been doing all the shopping and cooking, and the are starting to ease into more substantial veggies and even some fish and seafood!! His daughter is such a carnivore, I swear she growls when I throw her rare steaks. XMas dinner may be VERY interesting!!
