Tuesday I'll try a different round of injections to try and calm the disks in my lower back (Spinal Stenosis). The one in the tail bone quit working, so, he will try a different entry point this time. Mornings are miserable till my Meloxicam kicks in.

Yes, good luck. We are heading in on Wed the 1st for my wife's injection. She had them a few years ago, while she was still working and they worked for a while. She has a badly bulged disc between the L4 and L5 (about 9mm now). Trying to avoid surgery if possible.

Good luck.

I have had cortisone, facet injections several times in my mid back T-8, T-9 with failed back surgery...shots only helped me for awhile. I have constant back pain, sometimes it gets to me, but there are zero options.

Good luck Buzz, hope the shots really help you. I am standing at the kitchen counter typing with my TENS Unit on my lower back hammering away. Sure do enjoy holding the grandkids, but I pay the price for several days after.

My last shot lasted a couple of years but it's time for another one. Good luck everyone!

Just woke up from a nap. Had the procedure at 11:00am. All went great. Instead of one shot in the tailbone, he gave me 3 shots, one in each vertebra. They read off which ones, I can't remember but the very lower back.

So far so good. I'll walk my dog for a short one in a few minutes, see how that goes. Big test is when I wake up in the morning.

Thanks for everyone's comments and good wishes

cheers

Wife had a rough night last night, and was pretty sore still this morning. Her procedure is 1230 tomorrow, so fingers crossed it helps her. She not a good druggie, and that's a tough way to go thru life!!

In and finished, took about one hour total time. Doctor did the shot, and went over some other options for her. Has more pressure than pain right now, so we will see how it feels in the morning. Don't have to have any follow up until January if it's OK.

Will do, seems she's better as the hours go by. Hope yours is great too. I have only suffered from a serious back accident once, and had total recovery. That was a miserable few months!! I feel for anyone who suffers thru that pain

I went through year's of maxing out the three shots maximum epidermal. Hell I was on billboard for BSW Pain Management. You guys are playing with fire with cortisone as it causes cartilage breakdown in the joint and some patients suffer bone loss or stress fractures. Just know there are repercussions. Can be an Express lane to Fusions

If you are on BCBS, Tricare or VA look at Stem combined with amniotic tissue injections.

Wife seems to be doing good. Hard to tell when they mix the cortisone with Lidocaine, but she doesn't hurt like before. I think she has a little more flexibility too, so we will see.
