Great read, pictures, and buck.
You likely saved that old dude a much harder death in the very near future.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

How much would you dress out being all of 36?

Well, Dr. Lecter, I never really thought about it

I thought about that on the drive home.

He never knew I was there and was 100% completely unaware when the bullet hit him.

I’d much rather go that way than end up getting dragged down by coyotes or succumbing to a norther’ that brought sub freezing temps and ice

Weatherby Mark V chambered in .300 Win.

Nosler Trophy Grade loaded with a 180 Grain Accubond.

I've been impressed with every animal I've shot with this combo.

Congrats

I made an all day solo run at the ranch yesterday, I took a tirp back in time and ate cold hard boiled eggs like my dad and grandad did back in the day. I should have brought some salt.

I'm not down with hard boiled eggs but I'm not above cracking open a can of vienna sausages and a pack of crackers.
