There are a lot of folks out there that made the decision to get the jab for their own personal health care reasons, that do not believe in the federal government forcing people to do so through a mandate. I respect those people. Your body your choice, and none of my business. Those out there (including a few on here) that believe in forcing people to comply via a mandate - their livelihoods be damned, I have zero respect for.

Bingo. Thanks skinner for being level headed. Why should we hold it against people if they want the vaccine? It's a risk/reward scenario. They shouldn't hold it against people that don't want it either. That's the definition of freedom.

I agree Sir. The problem is non compliers (for whatever reason) are being treated MUCH differently on many levels, and I have a problem with that. I've had covid, but am given no choice in the US to show proof of immunity (like other countries). It's either comply, or suffer the consequences.

This is not acceptable.

Likewise. There are days where it is tempting to give in for the livelihood of our family, but reality comes back shortly after that it doesn't solve the problem. Sincerely hoping that the defcon level changes in January when the federal contractor mandate takes effect and more people stand up

I keep hoping that more people stand up as well. All of these people that were screaming "follow the science" back then, are being real quiet now and many are changing lanes.

Like I mentioned the other day on the mask thread, I just want normal back. That may not be an option going forward though.

Here is something to ponder.
Approx 90% of the 756K Covid deaths are of retirement age.
What better way to cut healthcare and social security costs…..

But of course not everyone is doing badly these days. It turns out that the vaccine manufacturers are laughing all the way to the bank…

The People’s Vaccine Alliance (PVA), an international non-profit working to close the global vaccine disparity, analyzed the earnings reports of Pfizer, BioNTech and Moderna and found that the companies will make a combined $34 billion in profit this year.

When broken down, that is $93.5 million a day, $65,000 a minute and more than $1,000 every second of profit.

Well this is just false to the point of being absurd. The doctor who is our Chief Medical Officer and another doctor who is our Chief of Staff are both pushing the vaccine as hard as they can. But both have openly stated that a mandate from the government is morally wrong. During yesterday's management team meeting when we were discussing how to roll this out to staff, my CEO got so worked up about it he busted out with a Let's Go Brandon. That's the top three positions in the organization all opposing the mandate. You can also add the CNO, CFO, CIO and CTO (me) to that list.

CMS defines “staff” as current and new employees, non-employed physicians and other licensed practitioners, contractors, students, trainees, and volunteers. In the email we sent out a medical and religious exemption form was attached. It has to be received and accepted by Dec 5th.

I am with you Skinner.

I don't understand the people that can separate the two issues. One is a personal decision the other is the government taking that personal decision away. You can be against the latter no matter what your personal decision is.

Until people refuse to comply with blatant violations of personal God given rights, governments will continue to attempt to take them away. They can never take them away, because personal rights don’t originate from governments. It’s only when you comply that you lose your rights. It’s the defining difference between citizens and subjects.

A strong moral opposition to the use of fetal stem cells, which may come from aborted babies, in the development or manufacture of the vaccine. Brand of religion really doesn't matter.

Jedi Knight is not officially recognised as a religion. However, looking at it another way, neither is any other religion. We imagine there are a few followers of Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism but the National Statistics office will not provide recognition of them officially.

I'll go with avoiding aborted baby body parts. (Say that three times)

US life expectancy is in the upper 70's, Africa is in the lower 60s. Most of the deaths are elderly with health issues,

Back to the OT, a judge in Louisiana ruled that CMS does not have the authority to implement a mandate nationwide, and such mandates should be voted on and implemented by congress. Duh. My wife's hospital has already put out a letter saying nothing will be done....if and when congress makes their decision, they will react accordingly.

Will the people already fired get their jobs back?
