Don't know if this will help anyone but twice a week I have to drive the backroads from San Marcos to Luling. There are about 20 small livestock and watershed tanks along the way that I have been watching. Ducks finally showed up on three of them yesterday. Not many of them but it is the first I have seen since the season started. Did have my binoculars so couldn't tell what they were.

I have been watching video of migrators along the Rio Grande at the southern border...there are many ducks that have already passed through CenTex and are vacationing in their winter range...
