Is there any pattern or consistency to Walmart Ammo deliveries? A couple weeks back one of the local Walmart’s had actual hunting loss but not what I needed but it quickly disappeared and hasn’t been in stock since. I know Academy normally does MWF deliveries anything similar for Walmart? I would have tried to ask an employee but there wasn’t a sole for miles.

The shipments are centrally scheduled from bentonville and almost totally out of local control. What you see is what you get.

The shipments are centrally scheduled from bentonville and almost totally out of local control. What you see is what you get. But is it everyone Monday the truck has some ammo on it, or randomly next Wednesday Bentonville with get a truck load of ammo from Federal so some will hit stores?

Walmart corporate office schedules ammo deliveries ki inif I understand a Walmart manager I know and trust.correctly. the local Walmart's find out if there's ammo on the truck when the driver hands them the manifest. Pretty much everything else they know when and what truck the product will be on except ammo

Academy is no better...we stopped last week at the Academy east of Forney...mebbe this is in Terrell dunno don't care...they had God knows how much 308 ...could be couple hunnert box's ...and almost nuthin else in CF ammo...and almost NO shotgun ammo either. As far as WalMart my local location in Palestine has not had enough ammo this year so far to waste the gas to drive over there to check 'em out...and why I am getting back into reloading my own stuff again.

Screw ammo. If you want to see a show at your local Walmart, stand somewhere near the sports trading cards shelves on the morning the new ones are expected to arrive.

Was at Walmart for something in electronics, and swung by the ammo shelf on the way out. They had .22lr, so I bought 300 rounds of CCI. haven’t bought any for several years, but I figured if they had it, might as well buy it. $10 per 100 rounds.

In the Amarillo area there are 3 Walmarts in Amarillo, 1 in Canyon and 1 in Dumas. The only ammo they all seem to have on a consistent basis in 350 Legend and I doubt there are 2 hunters in a 100 mile radius that have a rifle in that caliber. Same in Gainesville, the only Walmart in Cooke County. 350 Legend and 12 gauge... They did for once have CCI Standard Velocity 22LR in 50 round boxes for $5. No thanks.
