Sounds promising. Now if we could just get some pitching.

My gosh, if only they would go back to the old stadiums food choices and quality, I would go more.

The food at the new stadium is horrendous!

I will probably not go back.

Agree. I went to the new stadium twice this year and both times I missed the ball park across the street.

It's the garlic fries, 3 foot long hotdog, prime rib sandwiches.....etc.

Hell 7 eleven has better hot dogs then what they were serving. Let's not even discuss the nachos.......blah!

Beer was good and fairly priced though.

Good, we need it with the product they’ve been putting out on the field lately.

You don't get players of that caliber unless you layout a plan to take the team to the playoffs.

Great times ahead for the Rangers and their fans.

Good teams do not let good players go normally, I see know reason to think the Rangers will be anything different then they have always been.
Hope I am wrong and this doesn't end up like the ARod ordeal.

Hope Jack Leiter works out. Could see Kershaw ending up in Texas before he's finished. Though, his prime is likely already finished...

Maybe, just maybe they will not be bottom feeders next year. Fingers crossed.

I didn't miss it at all when it was about 100 degrees outside, but 72 inside.

Every year in baseball free agency, there are mega stars that leave for monster contracts. It's pretty much the norm after the club no longer controls a player's rights.

Well, you are spot on about that. And I bet if we had a great team that place could really get rocking!

What I miss is walking into the gate and instantly being hit with the amazing smell of fajitas and onions on the grill! The Beltre’ Buster and boom stick. Might also be the great memories I’ve had there. To me the new one just feels cold and doesn’t have the same character of the other one.

On July 23rd of this year, Major League Baseball hosted its Opening Day with support for the Black Lives Matter movement. In the first game of the season between the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals, a BLM logo could prominently be seen on the pitcher’s mound. It’s been stenciled in, along with the MLB logo, in the Washington ballpark and in others around the league.

Besides the logo, they’ve recently decided to allow players to visibly show support for social justice movements by wearing patches on their uniforms, BLM batting practice T-shirts, and social justice message-bearing cleats. Some players could be seen wearing customizations baring simple yet potent statements like "United for Change" and "Black Lives Matter." On top of that, prior to the Opening Day game’s playing of the National Anthem, players knelt while holding a black ribbon to show solidarity with the movement. Though many players stood for the anthem itself, this brief display was seismic on its own. Baseball has always been the "all American" sport, synonymous with hotdogs, cracker jacks, and patriotism. Demonstrations like these show that perhaps that definition is changing—or at least that protest is patriotic.

It's happened if you wanted to look...it's why I'm done with them. For that fact, all our sporting leagues have taken a knee to the new social justice crap. Sports used to run my life from a schedule perspective, not any longer...I hope they all choke on the social crap.

I’m pretty sure I wasn’t blind at those games. I didn’t dispute the picture or act like it’s false. I just said I went to a lot of games last year in three states and never saw that. 100% was not a BLM logo anywhere on the field at the games I was at.

Sounds like we're on the same page...because someone would have to be blind not to see the support sports balls are throwing at these causes. In my opinion, it's even worse they don't make it real obvious to the fans at the park(s)...it would seem an important item to understand and realize what you're supporting. up

If and when they play. They are locked out or striking at this time.
