Saturday morning found me sitting in a cold pop-up ground blind i had set in place 2 years ago. Its pretty beat up but has withstood the west Texas weather pretty good. I had been seeing several nice bucks on camera there in the last couple of weeks. @ 08:00 this wide boy walks in like he owns the place , and at 8 yards i put a broadhead through both lungs with my 54 # Acadian Woods longbow . I love a high lung shot , as he didn't make it 30 yards. Well done. Nice looking buck, but with archery equipment like that, any deer is a real trophy.

I have 4 of Tim's Longbows, going back more towards when he first got started.
We've had some fun times hunting together.
Archery and bowhunting has always been my first love (traditional equipment)
Sadly after 50 years of pulling longbows and recurves I've had to give it up. Rotator Cuff just won't handle it any more.
Spartans ask not...how many, but where!

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
