We all strive for perfection, but sometimes it's not needed, something different for everyone.

He seems to be implying that we make it harder than it needs to be.

Oh ok. I definitely agree with that!

Those seats had terrible seat tracks with lots of slop and the bolts broke off at the recliner hinge often...but at the time they seemed nice.

Pass the gravy.

Update: finally got to go hunting with the crapper gun, it seems to work. Shot this deer at about 135 yards

So just for fun I shot this at a little distance. That's right at 600 yards. Ranged and held over according only to my duplex reticle. It did take four shots, the bad part was shot one had the correct hold and I made a bad shot. Shots two and three were made according to the impacts from the bad shot, shot four I went back to my original hold and made a good hit on the target. I don't know the actual wind speed, according to the weather it's about 14 miles per hour right to left the way I was shooting, I held about 2 ft right, I have no idea if that correlates correctly, just given the information I have. Have a good one

Also this is the first time I shot the gun further than 130 yd when I shot the deer pictured above

Edited to add this was shot resting on a towel across the hood of my truck.

So are you wanting to trade for my simmons? I might have to have a little boot but I'll do that

For the money, I’m not sure you can beat the Ruger American Predator. I’ve owned two (308 and 243) and both shot fantastic. Congratulations on the deer.

I think they're a fine gun for what they are, they're not anything I would invest any extra money in. But as they sit and come off the shelf I think they're pretty solid. And thanks
