Michelin Defenders 295/60/20's had another set put on today. Discount tire said had about 6-7k more mileage on them and gave me a good deal on the new set.

Really great tires, probably drive 90% on streets, but have never been stuck while hunting.

Great tires,

Great tires,

I have the same ones on 2 of my personal vehicles, Great tires and hold up well. For the last 20 years I have nothing but Michelins on all my personal vehicles, they are by far the best on the market and they don't really cost that much more, and they last forever.

66K plus is what I had today on the Michelins on my F-350 when I got new tires. Ford in Del Rio didn't have any in stock today so I ended up with with Goodyear tires. We shall see how they hold up.

I went with Nitto previously for about 300 miles about 5 years ago and they were too loud on the highway. These are the least road noise, plus comparatively speaking, in that size are second from the least expensive on Discount Tires website. There are about 8 other selections that are way higher.

Nitto Terra Grapplers have been the best tire I have ever owned. Got 75,000 out of the ones on my Ram 1500 and am on 41,000 on my 2500 with plenty of meat left.

I believe towing 900lb tounge weight and the Diesel engine wear the tires out quickly.

They haven’t on mine. And they’re not noisy, they sing on a grooved concrete hi way though. Asphalt, not at all.

ETA: I’m glad you’re happy with what you like and spent your money on. up

Im early into some Firestone XT’s, and so far I love them. Definitely quieter than my old Nittos and T/A K02s

I’m finally back to BFG KO2’s after a stint with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Those were easily the worst tires I’ve ever had. Happy to be back in my BFG’s. If I can ever get front end parts delivered before I chew up these tires, I should see 60k miles before I replace them

The only problem with those I had was, mediocre in the mud and they dry rot before you could wear them out roflmao

Great tires,

Yep, just put a set on the wife’s Expedition, the last set went 66k and had enough to run another 7k. With winter coming and wet weather I went ahead and replaced them.

We just have to deal with it, I'll go through 2 to 2 1/2 sets a year. If I can get 15,000 out of a set that's extremely good, this old ranch eats' up tires. I'll go through a set of brakes every 20 to 25 thousand.

Yes! A Weatherby does kill them deader.

I got 72,000 or 73,000 on my goodyear factory P tires on my ram 1500. I drive it to the ranch regularly tow a 24 foot bay boat, a 30 foot travel trailer, and flatbed. Replaced the OEM's with Cooper E range. They have 40,000 miles on them and look new.

Rotate and correct inflation for the load on them, and not driving over stupid stuff helps.

I like to get a new set about every 40k, no matter what brand.
