Got to hunt quite a bit over the week of Thanksgiving and the rut was on at our lease. Saw some really good up and comers and passed on a really nice 5 year old main frame 8 with super long tines with a big fork on one G2. He is 5 and I think has the potential to really do something special if he makes it one more year. Had these two get it on about 80-90 yards from me Saturday morning. I probably should have shot the one bigger 8 as he is likely a 6 year old. I guess I just aint that mad at em anymore. lol
High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!

Haven't ever seen two bigger deer go at it. I did see a small 6 a few years back break off his main beam fighting...that was cool but that video is awesome...thanks for sharing!

I caught two young bucks fighting on video Friday several times but more like hard sparring not near the violence and aggression of your two big bucks! That is a Great action video!!

Good fight. Appeared pretty evenly matched for awhile until muscle and determination took over. I was very surprised to see the younger, smaller 8 stand his ground and actually have the upper hand for over half the fight. But eventually the older bigger deer got his feet under him and weight behind him and got the smaller one turned around. It is amazing how violent they can get. They definitely play for keeps no doubt. What is really neat is to watch all the deer run towards them when it starts. I had about 20 deer out (12 or 13 other bucks) and all including the fawns left the yellow brick road and came running to the action.

Very cool video. Never seen in person them get after it that much. I did see a decent buck last week fall on his azz chasing a young one away from the feeder. I see y'all been pushing cedar too.
