Overall, it looks good. I would set it up so that you can click photos in the gallery and show them enlarged. The thumbnails are pretty small..

Then there is this..

Overall the website get's across your core business offerings. I do marketing as part of my job, so these are some improvements I'd suggest. Just my opinion. 2cents
====

Clean up the gallery pics. A handful of good ones is better than a phone dump of marginal ones. Why post pictures of your truck being gassed or equipment being hauled?

If I saw "no" on the Do You Have References FAQ I'd immediately look elsewhere. Worst case say "references upon request".

Drop the home improvement license and septic license FAQ questions to bottom of list. Leading with negatives is never good.

Add an "About Us" TAB that details years of experience and years in business. On it put the company owner or general manager information with a pic of your smiling face. Creates confidence that they are dealing with real people.

x2 Reword FAQ #5 or get rid of it. Not sure why septic license is on there if septic is not one of your services listed. Sometimes less is best.

When I go to a site and there are no prices with only "contact us" as the only option, I go to another site. I know each job will have it's own unique characteristics, so an exact price would be impossible to calculate without going there, but a price range would at least keep me on the site. That was my take on it FWIW.

If you showed 1 job, -------- 2 pics before and 2 pics after, it would tell a lot more than just 20 pics of dirt, and one of you gassing up the truck.

These were my thoughts as well.

Put a pic or 2 on each page.

They where supposed to add “references upon request”. And really the only thing I can price is the an hourly rate per piece of equipment and debris removal per trailer load under a ton. I guess the pic of one of my trucks fueling up was in a batch of pictures I sent them. Have not had to market for the last 2 years because I primarily did work for one customer. So I got comfortable and now playing catch up.

Very first impression... your URL and company name made me think you had a trucking company of some kind.

Your home page banner text says "Pond Contractor & Tree Trimming" but your four primary services that follow don't say anything about Tree Trimming. That text should state would you want to sell, primarily do, want to focus on, etc. It's what people see in a Google search.

Your company name and domain name don't need to match. I would recommend a domain name, DBA name maybe even, that says what you primarily want to do/sell. I don't know anything about your field, but TMCShredding, TexasLandClearing, TexasShredding and so on. All of this matters if you are truly trying to generate business via web search vs word of mouth, bus card, local ads, etc.

While I am a Marketing graduate, no one has ever paid me for business consulting expertise, so take all that for what it's worth. smile

Good luck with your business!

Yeah the company I hired was supposed to do that. The transportation is another part of my business. I was running shuttles for toobers and kayakers. Had 7 vans and 2 school buses and plan on getting a few dump trucks amd belly dumps in 21.

Great advice has been given. It would be good to have an overview of your equipment, so interested people can better judge what you can offer. For example, one of your services listed is “grading”. Are you using an actual motor grader or using another piece of equipment? Do you have lasers or GPS capability? It is also useful to know what sizes of equipment you have, so if someone is looking to hire a few D-8 dozers they wouldn’t be wasting your time or theirs if you didn’t have those.

Great advice and I have passed it on to my website builder. The price thing is somethingI have struggled with since the beginning. Will it have the opposite effect and scare people off or keep more? Hard to say, and as mentioned every situation is different. I was going to price Equipmemt operation individually like 4 hour minimum for skid steer at $75.00 an hour unless running a Mulcher head then that would start at $850 a day plus the $75 an hour. Then let’s say we bring out the motor grader for a big job that will last a while then the rate would be discounted but for a one day job the haul fee needs to be included. I am dialing everything in because I have been on one big job for the last couple of years where the equipment never left the site unless it was going to another one of my customers properties. As far as Equipmemt I own I rent or lease from First Texas,Holt and Blake Bertling on a as needed basis. I own a Kubota with front end loader and grapple bucket and box blade. I am going to purchase a 289 or 259 in 2022. I would pull the trigger on a dozer but need to have more steady work lined up.

Once again keep the suggestions coming.

I wont hammer on all the other points but did just want to commend you on hiring out the website build. Seen too many instances where someone hires their nephew to build a website and it looks like a school project. You’re on the right path.
