Just had this feller show up. Only two points on one side, but a huge difference in mass. Doesn't appear to be scarred. Is this likely to work itself out next year, or is he just destined to be an odd duck?

Different looking buck for sure, I noticed he doesn't look to have brow tines on either side.
I don't expect him to grow out of this.

Look at that scar on his left flank.
Injuries can affect off-side antler next year.
May have been bad enough to hurt both.
My 2cents.

Always judge via good side. In his case what appears to be his three pt now brow side.

Mature deer, I’d shot him and smile

I agree…..looks middle age to me….. I would give him another season to see how he grows…..

One unbranched antler. Legal in an AR County. Take him out.

Need to take that one out of the herd, he's never going to be anything special and eats as much as a 10 point.

Dude is an old "junky" 5 pt nothing more and nothing worth keeping around. With that said I'd kill that deer with a huge grin any day of the week.

Same. I'm betting that's a 5 YO, if not older. If you are in AR and he makes 13", take him out or let someone do it if you are holding out for something better.

Looked for him tonight, he was a no show. I'm gonna have to get a better look at him, I don't know if he'll go 13. He's close. If I see him I'll be glad to euro mount him and hang that goofy ol man on the wall.

That right beam seems to sweep out enough to get there. Good luck!
