I’ll start by saying long reports aren’t my thing.

We’ve hunted with Charles at Lucky JAC outfitters for two years now and have been highly impressed!
We have always had multiple opportunities to harvest animals! His group have gone out of their way to accommodate us each hunt, including have a young kid come on his first deer hunt! The first year we were doe hunting with them, and could’ve filled our tags if we felt like cleaning that many. She got to shoot a spike and it ignited a flame! This year it was time to get the wife on her first branched antler buck! Charles had sent us photos of numerous bucks so we knew they were there! After watching a few on the morning hunt and again early afternoon my wife decided she didn’t want to let an 8 point walk away in the evening. We see antlers in the brush and an 8 point steps out, she counts and asked if she can shoot it? I reply, if it makes you happy! I look to the right and a coyote is pushing does towards us and I tell her he’s gonna be leaving in 30 seconds. It took about 3 seconds and she shot before I turned back around to see more than a buckled deer flying and off to the races! He went about 30 yards and crashed. Though we couldn’t see him, there was lots of dust on the air. Charles comes out and we find her deer piled up right where he crashed! This is a later photo.
