I hope all of ya'lls' seasons are going well so far! My son drew an antlerless/spike hunt there for this upcoming weekend! Any insights from anyone? Anyone hunted there? See any aoudad's? Thanks for any information!

How did y’all do in Fawcett? I’m real curious since there isn’t much info on this park.

I hunted couple times , as a guest of my nephew who's Atty ran the lease, the lease area just north & west of Mary's (the Chicken Fried Steak place) some years back. The ridge that goes SouthWest to make the 1st up level on I-20 is the north edge of the that lease. In those days it was unmanaged most of the time...but produced very decent WT's and lots of Turkey's. We never saw anything in Exo's. The big pond you can see from the N/S Hwy is killer for duck hunting.

I'll for sure put in for Roger Fawcett next year, as I like the hilly areas around PK that sounds about like my nephew's atty's lease 15 minutes north of Mary's.

I had hunted Lake Mineral Wells for 5/6+ years way back when I lived in Carrollton ...but Palestine is a little too far for just a meat hunt, for mostly young does ...but the Lake Mineral Wells SP Mgmt no longer hunt's the rocky areas south of the old artillery target range or up north & east of the creek that feeds the Lake where the previous Management had all of their blinds and was usually fairly productive ...unlike 2 years ago when the adjacent Public Park had half a dozen + CARLOADS of family groups coming across the fence in front of my 7-8' tall blind and walked towards me in the head tall high grass until I had to get out of the blind so they could see me for sure decked out in Hunter Orange before they would leave...then raced their cars up & down the fence line. Nope I'm out on doing that again for sure. Too bad too as Mgmt are a really nice bunch of guys but.... BTDT ...and once is enough.
