Have you ever tried any and what brand is your favorite?

Tried many, none did a thing. Waste of money if you ask me. Probably better off spreading some apple scented indian corn around.

Many many years ago I was on an east texas day hunt overlooking a pasture. No feeder. I had bought a cheap squirt bottle of acorn scent at Gibsons. Prichards or Rickards brand or something like that. I still remember it had a strong molasses smell to me. I squirted a little on random leaves and bushes in the pasture in a line leading to the wooden box stand I was in. Finally squirting some on the outside of the blind below the window. I only saw a single doe that day and it came out of the woods following my line of acorn scent smelling or tasting virtually every drop until it nearly stuck it's head into my blind. Unfortunately I did not have a doe permit available to me.

Hunters who don't know the effectiveness of lures on all animals have never trapped. I can make hundreds of successful sets with nothing more than a 1 ounce bottle of gland lure and an eye dropper. Texas Raised Hunting Products is my choice for deer lures.

I have killed several deer using it that I do not think I would have seen. My only 5.5 year old 12 point followed a drag rag trail with Special Golden Estrus on it for about 200 yards before it came into my view. Just drug it behind me to and across the opening I could see and get a shot in when walking in from the truck.

I have also killed a few Mississippi deer with Tinks out that came in from down wind of a piece of paper towel hung up on a bush.
