I’m going to start buying stand and fill feeders.
I have a ranch in Coleman County and my sons are going to set one up this weekend there.
I have a wench up at the location where they will put it.
TSC in Coleman has All season , the one in Caldwell has LAMCO.
$100 difference in price but I want the best one regardless.
I would like yalls reveiws on these.
I will be buying 600# capacity.

Hard to beat Bucees for the price but you said the best so probably better options. All Seasons and Lamco very good im sure. I havent researched but I would try to avoid any type varmit cage that keeps the corn from slinging as far as it can. Im completely sold on stand and fill and the 600#. Of course everyones situation is different, but sounds like you are on the right track for my way of doing things.

I've had the All Seasons for over a year now and I'm very happy with it. Throws corn three times a day like a champ and the pigs haven't been able to hurt it. It's the stand and fill 1000#.

I have two Lamcos and have been extremely pleased with them.

Both have pluses and minuses

Lamco has varmint plates which I like better then cage but has motor inside feeder, so has to be empty to change out.

All season non-bucces version no plates but easier maintenance . Personally I’d get bucees version


Ramball are my favorite but extremely heavy. But built like a tank. Easy maintenance W/plates

I told them to pick out which ever one the wanted. The reviews I’ve been getting, this forum and other people I have talked to , it’s a toss up so left it to them.
All I have to do is give them the money.

They sell these at the feed store in Coleman. I’m going to tell them to check this brand out while they are there.
They have 800# capacity and are cheaper.

my son in law is running 2 of these for going on 4 years now, and I have one of their road feeders. Good quality and supporting a small business. As I have to replace existing feeders, these are what I will be going too.

I have known the owner for several years from a BBQ group where he started out making pits (Schmoker pits) years ago and decided to add in feeders which has exploded his business. He is an avid hunter and supporter of the Buckmasters program in that area and providing hunts to kids with disabilities.

I’m going with the 800# capacity Green Go.
My sons will pick it up this evening or tomorrow morning.

If it does good I will buy more.

The greengos I looked out were hideous in quality and they were fresh off the truck

I like the Lamco over the All season

I also like the Buccess so far

My sons said it looked good to them, but I guess we will see how it does.

Checked out Green Gos website and not much info there. I am in now way suggesting it's not a good product but a decent website is pretty easy to come by these days.

I recently purchased two 1000# Lamco Low and Throws. Love them so far.

Bought some land in 2006 that already had several lamcos running and they came with the purchase. Sold that land in 2016 and those same lamcos are running today on my lease. At LEAST 15 yrs old.

The greengo is out dated technology with the varmit cage….the corn piles up around the bottom limiting the amount of deer that can feed around it…

Ramball, without a doubt.

Been running one for three years and it's flawless. There's no cage to deflect the corn, it slings it in a 70' Ø. The plates are large enough so that coons can't reach it. Built like a tank and the electronics are well housed and protected. The only thing I didn't like at first was the solar panel on top, I was worried about hail damage. I was wrong about that. With it on top you don't have to worry about which direction it faces and nothing is going to bump it in the field or during hauling.

Anything with a cage is going to have a lot of corn on the ground near the feeder and your deer are going to be tightly grouped up, or hesitant. Spread it out over a 70' Ø and everybody has plenty of room to enjoy a nice meal.

Second choice for me would be Bucees, stand and fill with no cage.

I want to get to your stage where your sons handle things like this for you! Well done! Mine (son and son-in-law) say they're gonna do all kinds of stuff, then don't deliver. I'd much rather they just didn't say it. "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

For me, a feeder that shoots to far out is a problem. My pen is large, but corn going outside will have the pigs coming and cows. That keeps deer away.

I've been pretty happy with the two 1000 lb. ASFs that I have at my place, although the Aoudad have done a number on the anti-coon panels on the sides. Not enough to break them but definitely dented. I also have a Leon Valley 400 lb. feeder at our lease that I love, that thing has been rock solid for 4 years, zero issues and even the paint is holding up well (minor fading).

While I'm sure Ramball's is the tank it appears to be, I went with the Lamco 600 lb Low-n-Throw as the best overall compromise this season and have been absolutely pleased. I don't see the internal motor as that much of an inconvenience. I think the inability to "shoot through the legs" like with a tripod feeder is more of a detractor in IMHO. But that's easily overcome by by the ability to "stand and fill."
