All over the board.

At my house outside of San Antonio they were running opening weekend of rifle season. My boss lives on the opposite side of the city from me, 20-30 miles away and had a fawn maybe a week or 2 old at her house last week.

At our place in south texas the bucks are still in groups now, wont break up till thanksgiving, wont see active chasing till mid December and will be chasing through the end of the season.

It depends. I primarily hunt Freestone Co and we normally have 2 different ruts, with each lasting a little over a week. On occasion, we'll have a 3rd rut if some of the does didn't get bred the first couple of go arounds.
