With their Black Friday deal I'm pretty tempted to pick up a 7 62 suppressor to get a free .45 suppressor.

I have a hybrid 46 and know people with omegas and harvesters who are very happy with them as well.

hmm I have to look into this. I have been meaning to get more suppressors but was put off by the wait....for free stuff I can stomach the wait better. So far I only have a Silencerco Sparrow (which I won for free not counting the tax stamp)...love it.

I didn't have good luck with their last BOGO in 2018, I made my qualifying purchase and submitted all the paperwork within the time frame. It took them over a year to send out the "free one" to the dealer. The gun shop I purchased through did not contact me when they received the suppressor because they went out of business. So I wrote and called silencerco multiple times letting them know the range/dealer was closed permanently. They said it was shipped and received by the owner of the gun shop. His SOT and FFL had not expired, thats why he was able to receive it. I asked Silencerco to contact the owner and have it transferred to a shop that is open. They refused to help because they fulfilled their part by shipping it. The ATF also said its my and my recourse was to file a lawsuit against the bankrupt owner. It was a $450 22LR suppressor not worth the time to take someone to court. So I have a sour taste about Silencerco's "deals". This year I spoke to the Texas SiCo rep at the rifle gear grand opening. He apologized but told me there was really nothing they can do with a dealer who was out of business. I was supposed to know that the gun shop was in business when they shipped, even though I had no idea when they would transfer the suppressor to the shop. Lack of transparency and no communication is where they failed in my case. If you go the SilencerCo route they are decent suppressor but I wouldn't suggest running the ASR mount system. I also had a baffle strike in 2020 they repaired on my hybrid46. I did prove my case using alignment rods that the ASR was not concentric to the bore on my Sig .308. Fortunately I always run a camera when shooting incase there is an accident it is documented. The footage supported my claim that that the ASR was the issue. They replace the ASR mount and brake. I do not use the SiCo ASR mounts anymore. Direct thread has always been concentric aligning the bore to the suppressor. This was just my experience and opinions. I will say the Hybrid 46 on my 9mm carbine is my favorite setup. Fortunately with product defects they have replaced and repair everything. Best of luck, I have heard my case/experience is pretty rare but none the less my experience sucked.

That last BOGO deal was about a 2 year turn around time for me. It is a good deal, but the wait was terrible.

This may be my entry into the suppressor market...yall know I love a deal.
I had been trying to debate between a 22 pistol suppressor or one for my 6.5 that I may eventually turn into a 7-08. So if I got a Harvester 300, it would work for a 6.5 or 7-08? And the Warlock could go on a 22 pistol?

The Harvester 300 is hard to beat for its price and weight. I use one on multiple rifles and I never hunt without it anymore. The only downside is that it will add enough length to a rifle to make it hard to use in a blind at times. I also have a sparrow that I use on a Browning Buckmark pistol and it is quiet enough for me and my ears. The real reason that I went with the Sparrow is, it can be used on my 22 hornet rifles which make them a dream to shoot. They are short and lightweight so adding a suppressor to a trim little rifle doesn't mess with anything.

I have two from Silencerco, an Omega 300 and Octane 45K. I've been happy with them, but I don't have experience with any competing products in those sizes.
My other two are from YHM (.22LR)nand AAC (5.56).

Three myself -- sparrow, omega, and hybrid. I don't need any more otherwise I'd probably jump on it.

I've been on the fence about doing this for a while. Think this might push me over.
Always heard that SilencerShop was about the easiest place to get the forms done. SilencerCo lists them as a dealer. Can I just do all of this there? Can't tell for sure if these two companies are related or not.

I think I get it. SilencerCo is a manufacturer and SilencerShop is the retailer.
So if one was looking to suppress a combination of a .300BO and a 10/22, and maybe an AR15. Which of their products would you recommend?

However, you need a self-serviceable can for the 10/22. The general thoughts on most silencers is the blast from the next round cycles out the buildup of the rounds before it. Most rarely have to be cleaned, and some claim they never should be cleaned. This is not the case with 22 suppressors. 22lr shoots very dirty and will eventually clog up your suppressor. I've never seen a 22 can that was not self-serviceable, which simply means you can break it apart to clean the internals.

The link in my signature has some pretty interesting information on cleaning/maintaining rimfire suppressors.

Dumb question - does the Harvester 300 work on any caliber under a 300 basically? Would it work for a 6.5 or 7-08?

Going to get the ball rolling on an Omega 300 and a Sparrow today, will have to wait for the Octane 45 to come in on the freebie.
