Man, that resurrected an old story…..
Was playing with my usual golf group on a Saturday morning…..going for a green in two….completely double crossed the shot…instead of a big draw….launched right, over a two story apartment building….all of a sudden…bang!
Few minutes later a guy comes to the fence….”Which one of you idiots hit the ball that hit my car?”
I owned up to it…”Buddy, I/m sorry, let’s go look at your car.” We all walk out to the parking lot….his car looks like someone had worked it over with a ball peen hammer. I said…”so where exactly did my ball hit your car? We were all laughing so hard, he really got p’d….one of my buddies looked at him and said, “I’m his attorney, I’ll give you my number and you are more than welcome to call me”
Guy storms off into his apt. End of story…..we still laugh about that.
