Gazed Krispy Kreme. If you don't catch the store when the sign is lit up for the fresh ones, 8.7 seconds in the microwave brings them back close to perfection in my house.

I'll stick with Shipley's, their doughnuts have absolutely no calories in the hole

used to be a good mom and pop donut shop in Willis, his wife got sick, so they had to sell the business, got bought out by some koreans(?) and the donuts are  now... So now, there is a Donut Xpress in Conroe on the north side.... they're pretty decent.

We have a local place that makes great donuts and other treats, but a place in San Angelo that is called Slanging Dough is fricking OUTSTANDING, If you go there, go early, he sells out by 9 or 10 every day.

My usual order at Shipleys is 2 glazed and 1 devils food chocolate filled. Wash it down with a medium cup of black coffee.

^^^^^ that devils food chocolate filled is the best do-nut on planet earth. We're getting a Shipley's in Giddings and the people who own the current shop need to be looking for something else to do.
