Lots of green this year. Has anybody started getting pics of anything good yet?

Friend of mine has a 400 acre spot he hunts in Nocona

He sent me a juicy buck yesterday, kickers and trash..13-14 scorables

His camera has only been up a week and said that was the best one so far

I'm curious too. I saw a nice buck chasing does years ago by the rock quarry south of St Jo. Driven past the hills there for years, but never hunted it. Looks promising. Anyone have any pics of bucks killed in the area?

On a new small acreage lease this year. But the activity has been good on camera. Only a few older bucks seen so far. The question I have is would you take a mature 8 or a 9 pt that’s probably at 4 y/o.

Good luck to everyone on Saturday

Hard to tell. Hunters are seeing does at feeder but the does have to beat the hogs to get any corn. Only one good buck been seen so far.

Seeing some deer at/around feeders but not seeing very many mature bucks. Deer disappeared from the feeders about 10 days ago but they're back along with hogs. My first year on a lease south of St. Jo so I'm anxious to sit and see what's moving around. My buddy that was on it last year killed a mid 150's and said he saw a couple that were bigger.

wednesday evening 11/3. Far west-central montague county. Two mature bucks and smaller ones chasing does near feeder. Minimal acorns here this year. Feeders very busy lately.

Beautiful morning just east of Nocona. Saw a young buck but nothing else. Heard only one shot. Buddy saw a nice 10 checking out does. Hope everyone else is doing good.

My son killed a doe and had a buck literally locked down on where she died for 30 minutes. He eventually started running around looking for another doe. I texted my buddy and he told me to my son kill it. Took another 30 minutes for it to leave the dead doe again and he hammered a really good 8pt. I’ll post pics in a little bit.

Rut us definitely on!!

We have 5 hunters on 1,100 acres here and I am the only one that saw a buck chase a doe far. Just does at feeders and little guys wondering around. Tons of pigs everywhere. Unfortunately no big bucks on camera this year. Only seen 3 doe this morning.

Feel ya Txduckman, we don’t have anything on camera that excites any of us. The deer my son shot we didn’t have any pics of either. Talked to some guys that lease the front part of the property we pass through, they have no shooters on camera either.

We'll be out tomorrow. Rut is usually right now based on previous years. Good luck!

Took this guy exactly 4 years ago today. He left his usual area and traveled 3 miles to me that glorious morning looking for love. Almost slept in and didn't make it to the stand until after 7. Showed up 10 minutes later.

Just got pics this morning, and have a 3-4 yr old 10 pt buck stalking a doe. He is in love. Heading up tonight and hopefully will be able get an older buck. But good luck out there!

One of our guys boy got a nice buck this morning. On a doe the whole time till he fell. Nice 8 pt, 18 inch spread.

In stand now and seen a six pt, doe and pigs in 15 minutes.

We got a pic tonight of a huge buck at the stand we weren't at just following a doe. Never seen him before.

Been seeing them on cams but they were pretty much a no show this weekend. 5 hunters saw 4 deer and no shooters. One stuck a huge hog with an arrow but couldn’t find it.
