Took my Marlin 917V to the stand with me on Sunday evening and was dealing with some critters that have been spinning our feeders dry. I forgot how fun that gun was to shoot but the trigger is horrible. After finishing off the corn thieves I started googling a better trigger and Rifle Basix seems to be about the only option out there.
Anyone have experience with their triggers? Worth the $100 to upgrade?

I have one on my Savage 7 Rem Mag. Work great but a PITA to get adjusted just right. There are several adjustments and they all sort of interact with each other, so you get one set the way you want it, go to the next adjustment and it causes the first one to change a little bit. Other than that initial setup, I like it just fine.
Silver spurs and gold tequila keep me hanging on. Pretty girls and old cantinas give me shelter from the storm.

I’ve got one on a Rem 700, it’s been great for about 20 years

I've got them in a couple of Rugers. I didn't have any trouble getting them installed in mine but they are probably different than the savage trigger. I'd spend the $100 again

Just finished getting one installed on my Savage 111. To be honest it was a royal pain! The problem is Savage and the fact that they change things on their rifles way too often. my big issue was with the safety I wound up using parts from 2 different factory triggers and still had to machine and modify parts to make it work. Assembly looks easy but everything aligns on 1 pin ...Mine was a nightmare. Once I got the new trigger in and adjusted it was great, but I won't do it again!

Look at the MCarbo trigger springs for it.

Look at the MCarbo trigger springs for it. I found these last night. Might give it a try before I go with the Rifle Basix trigger.
