Had a great trip to the ranch with the family. Had a couple good sits, got to sit with my little boy, and the Aggies won. We sat near our tank opening morning saw a good number of deer and one that has been on the cameras. Thinking he is a 3yo and hoping he takes up as permanent residence as he has the past year or two for the next several and good rains. He is a typical 6x6 with a broke off kicker on his right G2.



That evening we sat another stand. Watched the Aggie game, and after the javalina ran all our deer off we took advantage of the late part of the hunt and shot a lone doe with no fawn that came back. I was going to bust a javi after they ran the deer off, but little man said no daddy I want you to shoot a deer lol.

Thanks all, always have a ton of fun with everyone there. Last year started a new chapter with my brothers boys starting to hunt, its a new kind of exciting. Cant wait to get all the kids going on it.

Almost none of us made it either and then somewhat last minute plans changed. I take what I can get lol
