When you're out working in the garage at 0600 and just drinking coffee, and a pickup pulls in from off the street in the dark. Usually not a good sign, unless it's your buddy and his wife, dropping off surprise pastries for breakfast!!!  They couldn't sleep and know we get up early, so a good reason to start the day a little better!!! I love any kind of fritters, but apple is my favorite!! One morning I went in and they were out of apple, but had some amazing peach ones. Those were pretty darn good too!!!
