My son has spent 6 1/2 years in the 82nd Airborne and just got out a few months ago after a 9 month deployment in Afghanistan. Needless to say, he was ready to hunt. Not the biggest deer out there, but we are proud of it and first on our ranch we bought together.
I am not the best at age, but just based on the attached pics, is this a 4 year old?

First two pics I thought was older deer, third maybe 4.5, not younger.

I thought at least 4 1/2 as well. Have a friend that has him at 3 1/2 and I just don’t see that

Min of 4 and I think probably 5.
Great deer and I'm glad he got him!

And a big TY to your son for protecting and serving all of us.

High fence, low fence, no fence, it really doesn't matter as long as you're hunting!
